Hawker Hurricane buzzing around over my village/part of town. Seemed to come from Duxford direction, did a left then right manoeuvre then headed northish. Might be going to Coningsby, seemed a lateish time to be out (about 6.30pm).

Had a lovely all silver Beech C-45 fly over the house on Saturday. It was in pre-war US Army markings. I think it must have been G-BKGL.

Just driven from Milton Keynes to Marlow and have seen a Shorts Skyvan go over very low near Bletchley and then got passed by three Chinooks at about 150 feet midway between Aylesbury and Prince's Risborough!
Best wishes

The Skyvans could have been on the way to Bicester - you see then quite often over that way because of RAF Weston on the Green.

It was heading near enough South East, so directly away from Weston/Bicester and very low....no idea where it could have been going though!

Some of you may be aware that the Patrouille de France have been touring the US recently. Last week, they visited the Thunderbirds, up the road from me at Nellis in Vegas. On Thursday, they did a photoshoot over local sights including the grand canyon. You can see those photos on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/patrouilledefr ... nref=story;

After their photo shoot over the Canyon, they were on their way to Sacramento for an airshow, but one of the a/c went tech, so a pair of them diverted into Flag Airport, where I saw them on Friday morning before I went to work. Not the best photos, but I was not wanting to outstay my welcome by doing a long photoshoot.

Two Typhoons were doing circuits over our house and around the area yesterday. At first we thought there were multiple pairs coming over at regular intervals, but then we saw them close up and bank right before heading south. They then appeared again, five over flights in total. Not sure what they were up to, but they came from the south where Stanstead is and London so maybe the airports had an emergency!. Couldn't see what Squadron they were from.

Kinetic has been quick off the mark and already issued a twofer kit in the new markings:
