Great job Ratch; those old Matchbox armoured kits still hold up well today!
Best wishes

These old MB kits can still look great (the display bases are the icing on the cake IMHO) and I have long preferred them over their Airfix rivals. Great work with this one Ratch.

The Puma is a great looking armoured car and was an advanced design for its era. This MB kit is a decent effort IMHO, certainly I enjoyed building mine, but IIRC one of the criticisms of the kit is that, OOB, the ride height is too low. Being ignorant of that fact until I'd built the kit I left mine standard and it looks like you have too - did you find the wheels to be a bit of a tight squeeze under the mudguards?

Indeed I did Shaun, though I thought it was because I fitted the axles and airbrushed the camo before adding the wheels And I didn't know about the ride height either

I have one of these in the stash. Will I attempt to fix the ride height when I build it? Nah, I'll just say it's full of fat Germans
