Philip, you can PM Coptermech. Think there is an O-2 at the museum where he works.

I fished out the Academy A-37B yesterday. Second hand unbuilt but missing its canopy, a pilot's seat and markings. I might be able to do it regardless, and have some South Vietnamese markings in spares that would look pretty smart on it. The canopy is going to be a challenge.......as back up against the Dragonfly not being do able I also have the Arii Cessna 172.

Hello! I'd like to play along if that's alright. I've got a couple of 1/72 A/T-37s and one lone Skymaster in the pile. I should manage to get at least one of them together for this GB!

Thank you for your consideration,

The more the merrier. Welcome aboard. The good old 336/337 Skymonster is a nice looking aircraft. As is the tweet. Looking forward to following your build.

Incidentally it was mine and Sarah's 3rd wedding anniversary on Sunday. As an anniversary gift she got me a flying lesson. With luck it'll be in one of Cessna's finest.

All the best.

It's at Finningley. Or rather what they now call Sheffield Robin Hood Doncaster Airport, or whatever way round it is. Personally I think it's a blimming silly name for it. Finningley Airport would be better. As for the Robin Hood bit he wasn't from anywhere near here but from Loxley, that's in Sheffield and miles away. And Finningley is only at the northern tip of what was Sherwood forrest so that can't be the reason either. Rant over. I have flown from Finningley before. Once in a DH Chipmunk and twice in C47s.

All the best.

Hi folks. The flight was awesome. And yes. It was a Cessna 152. Reg G-CIUU for those who like to know these things. It's been many years since I last had hands on in an aircraft and the instructor was suprised at how well I did considering. So was I to be honest. I held altirude and bearing quite well enough and held constant angle during turns. 1 thoroghly enjoyed the flight. I really wouldn't mind alot more but that's being greedy I suppose. I an really keyed up to start this GB now.

All the best.

I try to ignore Group Builds to be honest because I have enough "in progress" on my plate at any one time. However, if I can get my "Shared Build" airliners out of the way this week, I might chip into this Group Build. I have a couple of Cessna designs in the stash - a Hasegawa A-37, the Airfix O-1 and O-2 and an Arii 1/72 172.

I've been thinking of building a light aircraft kit so this might be an incentive.
