Hello from Norwich

Post by Skathi »

Hi there, I am Jasmin, 29 from Norwich, England.
Very much a newbie to modelling, Finished the starter Spitfire kit last week and am half way through the starter Red Arrow Hawk.

I have severe tremors all over my body, worse in my hands, so it is a great challenge to build models. :D

I look forward to posting here and learning from you all.

See you around.

Welcome to the madhouse Jasmin

I hope you'll enjoy your time on here, and look forward to seeing some of your work soon; don't be afraid to ask questions or to join in generally, no one bites! 8-)
Best wishes

Good to see you on the forum Jasmin, look forward to seeing some of your work, Ive only just started modelling myself, still not finished my first kit yet.

Their a friendly and helpful lot here, helped me no end, any questions ask away, I'm sure someone will have the answer (but likely not me)
A start on my first kit a Hawker Hurricane as been made, a spitfire awaits in the wings and thinking about models to come.

Modelling space in shed coming along nicely.

Welcome aboard !
We have other members with difficulty using their hands, so maybe we can offer modeling tips to make things easier - don't hesitate to plunge right in.

Your announcement of "Greetings from Norwich" reminds me of a certain game show of the 70s presented by Nicholas Parsons. You're too yopung to know about that.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find it useful and inspiring - and fun. I've been modelling since the stone age and still learn from the people on here.

You're lucky to have Langleys on your doorstep. I have to travel a bit to reach my LMS, Parrs of Lowestoft being a favourite

welcome aboard Jasmin. Enjoy the forum they're a friendly bunch I've found never be afraid to ask questions no matter how basic :-D

one tip I would give you regarding the hawk...make sure you put the underwing decals on before the pylons ( I think they're called pylons) I didn't do that and spoiled what was promising to be a very nice model because i had to try cutting the decals to fit
I stared a century thinking this will never change
As I hesitated, time rushed onwards without me
Too scared to break the spell, too small to take a fall
But the absolute luck is, love is in our hearts!
