Excellent work, the cockpit looks stunning.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Almost done. I spent the last four days painting two coats of Model master flat white as a base coat, followed by two coats of Sovereign ColorCoats 'Anti-Flash White'. I added Al-Clad glosscoat and am ready for decals.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Wow, Chuck, that is one of the nicest Victors I've seen for a while. It's still a futuristic looking aircraft and anti-flash white is the scheme for it IMHO.

And the prize for the first completion goes to........
Top build Chuck; very nicely done and an informative build thread as well
Now very ashamed that I've not even started, or decided on my build

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Impressive build. Looks like the cockpit "cover" had some fit issues, hope none of the spray got into that superb cockpit.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

You can blame photobucket. They decided that I would need to pay $399 up front to link pictures to this site. $399 is a little steep for linking around 20 pictures a year to one website so I decided to switch to Picture Trail. I'm switching to their site so I should be able to replace the pic soon.

Thanks. There was a little spray but not much. Compare to the Vulcan, you can see a lot of the Victor's cockpit.

I sat in Midlands Air Museum's Vulcan a couple of Sundays back and there isn't a massive amount to see OUT of the windows, let alone IN!!.Chuck Finley wrote:jRatz wrote:Impressive build. Looks like the cockpit "cover" had some fit issues, hope none of the spray got into that superb cockpit.
