I turned to this as a little mojo pick-me-up, after my recent tribulations with a certain Camel and it's rigging....
Build time 20 minutes, then a couple of evenings to paint it. Astounding level of detail for the size; 95mm length overall
I painted the edge details in Humbrol Gunmetal, the top and bottom faces in Humbrol gloss white, then a coat of Tamiya Smoke all over and finally a coat of Flory Dark Dirt as a wash.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

That's come out a treat. Nice 'starry' photography too.

Very nicely done indeed, Iggie. The kit has some lovely looking detail that has really popped out during the painting and weathering process. I've never really been a big fan of Star Wars and therefore the subject matter doesn't interest me hugely but I can appreciate a great bit of modelling and indeed a decent looking kit when I see it
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thanks Shaun!
To be honest the kits build themselves really such is the quality of the engineering and the detailing..... add some washes and a bit of Tamiya Smoke and there you have it!
