Daz's Dunkirk Dogfight Double - **DONE!**
Re: Daz's Dunkirk Dogfight Double
Tremendous pace your setting Daren
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
Re: Daz's Dunkirk Dogfight Double
Thanks.
I actually made a start on the decals earlier, while trying to finish off something else (more on that in the relevant thread!). So now, the Spit has roundels and flashes on, just needs the codes and serials on it to finish.
Still need to paint Jack first, mind you!

Re: Daz's Dunkirk Dogfight Double
I might have to go back and rectify some of the Buchon's nose job, as it seems to be a bit unsightly despite the yellow paint.

Well tidy Daz,the me109 was never a looker but now it's got Cyrano de Bergeracs (excuse the spelling) nose,it's a minger.
Re: Daz's Dunkirk Dogfight Double
I happen to think the Buchon is the best-looking version!

Very nice work. Especially the Bouchon. I know from experience it isn't an easy job to do right.
All the best.

Excellent work, that nose is looking brillient.
You have demonstrated that old school model conversions are still alive and well, well done keep up the excellent work.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Many thanks, folks.
Well, I'm calling it done!
An easy, if a bit fiddly, conversion of a classic, and it looks pretty good considering my ham-fisted skills!
