OLD MODELS VS. NEW

Post by flyingt »

HI! Im across the pond,in South Carolina,Bishopville. Mom and Dad introduced me to model kits at
the age of 6. Was in school when I was 4..When I was a little older I got the Airfix kits of Columbus ships
and they where small to me. I remember getting them in blister packs. Over the years I had gotten a
few Airfix kits.I went to a sale and found 2 1/72 scale kits: # 484 Heinkel 111 and 1-109 US constant scale
Junkers JU88 A4. The Heinkel parts are still in the bag, sealed. I had also got a few Airfix mags. now on
line I have over 80 mags on computer. New are pretty expensive kits I mean

Waiting for the day, when wars for territory will be something to be read about in history books only.

Welcome aboard from a fellow member on the left hand side of the pond!

Thanks for the pointer to the archive. There's still a lot of valuable material in old Airfix magazines.
