Thanks Celt.

What Flow enhancer do you use?

Thanks Celt - I'll have to get some. How much do you add? And do you still add thinners?

That is a lovely looking Cat!

Those are gorgeous kittens.
Maybe we should divert to another thread.
Or a group build!

This is Shadow. No longer a kitten. 13 years old and still The Scourge of Mahogany Hill! (Since moving here when he was 2, he believes the whole cul-de-sac is his territory. Only slight signs of him mellowing).

On the subject of pets, was it Churchill who said that he liked pigs because dogs look up to us, cats look down on us but pigs treat us as equals?

Sky pirate, that is a very realistic finish on the model of Shadow, did you use a hair brush or airy stick?

Great models and cats. Just to add to the fun this is Sylvester. As you can se he's a kitler. Not the brightest cat around and he's scared of our pet hamster (I kid you not) and hss a bit of a weight problem because he's so greedy, but he's loving and likes to get cuddles.

All the best.

As long as Sylvester doesn't try to annex the Sudetenland. Just distract him with treats and everything should be cool.

''Warning... Mojo returning... Warning...''

:partytime:

As much as I love beer and cats (kittens are doing well BTW) it's high time I started doing some blooming modelling again. Now that I've sorted out my job, and hopefully tomorrow I can tell my new boss from hell where to stuff his job, the old Mojo is making a comeback.

oh, and here's my new bench... (bought back in May - WOW!)

(started life as)

I've not realy touched a build since October, but I have been tinkering a bit with this old FROG Tempest. I really recommend this kit, it's been a joy to build thus far, I even enjoyed the filling and sanding (not that there was much).

Image

Here's where it stands.. (celt, notice I've painted the frames free-hand and will tidy with a cocktail stick when finished).

Image

I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Out of interest on this build I'm trailing these new Blue-line Hataka paints - so far I'm REALLY impressed, they're are a little grain-ey, but lay down really nicely and are all matt which is great. I've ordered some flow enhancer for the green to see how that goes.

Image

And here are my other WIPS, awaiting their turns.

Nice to be back

Cheers!

Stuart
