Looking pretty darned good Daren. I too have not built a Hurricane since the late 70's! I have the Airfix new tool Hurricane Mk. I and wonder why I haven't tackled it yet!

Hurricane No.1.....
Hurricane No.2.....
Haha, didn't see that one coming, eh?! It's a Novo kit I started a few months back, and it's been languishing on my build desk for ages. A ruddy pig of a kit to build - not much in the way of parts, it was not a great build by any means. No pilot figure, either, so I had to sit one on a bench - and there's nowt else in the cockpit, either!
Spitfire....
You can't really see it here, but there's a full cockpit installed!

Yep, those are definitely Hurris -- and a Spit. And very nice ones, too. Okay, the Novo one is more of a triumph over a crap kit than anything else, but you did beat it, which will only make the Hawker fanatics around here want to see you repeat the much better results you had with the other one! You can't win... ... except that you did.
Keep up the good work.

Cheers, folks.
I'm still rather critical of the fact that I haven't nailed the film Spitfire's camouflage!

Re: Daz's Movie Madness!
OK, so, having had a wee break from building, I will be getting back into this lot next year.
I'm contemplating a WW1-themed build, with possibly either a Pfalz D.III from The Blue Max, or a Bucker Jungmeister from Aces High.
Or maybe an ultra-rare Viima from the latter film - this aircraft appeared as both a single-seater and a two-seater in the film!

Re: Daz's Movie Madness!
Did you see 'Grandpas great escape' on BBC last week? I have the feeling it slipped under your radar or you would be doing a Spit flanked by a pair of Harriers already
It should be available on BBC iplayer for another week if you want to catch up on it.
