You can weather the tracks using the chalk dust and varnish mix I suggested previously; it may prove difficult to get it to stick to the vinyl initially, but once dry it should stay put ok with gentle handling.
Use a mixture of colours in different batches, and build up the layers gradually, as though the tank has been through differing ground conditions.
Above all, experiment!!

Jim If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing "Never put off till tomorrow, what you can do the day after tomorrow"
It's one of many available, but it's the one I use most so it will hopefully work for you. Let us know how it goes; try it on an old model first if you can to get a feel for how it goes on and how quickly it dries

there might be an illustration at the end of the instruction leaflet, otherwise the box-art on the front might give you an idea of what goes where.

My build going very slowly because i haven't got and weathering stuff yet nor have i any matt varnish but i can decal. I threw out the instruction sheet when i finished the build so i don't know where the decals go on the model. I have applied a coat of gloss. This is where im up to.
If you look on the Airfix website for the King Tiger starter set, you can look at the instructions, although they don't seem to show any decals! The pictures on the webpage do however show the placement of them. Link below, hope this helps https://www.airfix.com/uk-en/pzkw-vi-au ... -1-76.html
