Finished her, will get pics done tomorrow and in the Completions, I've only got until Tuesday and then it's my op on Wednesday.

I've just finished her this morning and glued the figure to a base.

You know what they say: Pictures or it didn't happen

Now it did Happen!!....





Pics are a bit dark, I'll see if I can re-do them if anything thinks I should..

Thanks Iggie. Yes, it does have some fluidity to it (if that's the right word!!). It is a pretty good kit although there are no instructions and some gaps in the body but otherwise enjoyable. Still tempted to try the modern version shown earlier!!.

Hi, thanks Rob. The dappling was done by painting the body mid-grey and then using a variation on dry-brushing. Instead of loading the brush with paint then wiping most of it off, before running it over the model, this time I loaded the brush, wiped off only about half and then 'stippled' the brush end onto the model, dabbing it at the required area. Essentially the brush is 'end-on'/90 degrees to the model. Hope that makes sense!.

That is superb Marky! As someone with a daughter who got taken to horsey stuff every Saturday morning I can vouch for how spot on (unintentional pun) the dappling is.

Thanks PT!, glad it's passing inspection!. It was nice to do so more may be in the future, although this is the only one I've found so only girl centaurs for the moment, unless I can do a conversion to make a male one..... (The human part is separate to the horse part so it's possible).

Thank you PTB. It's inspired me to do more, perhaps using the same horse body. I'm going to look for perhaps historical figures like Gladiators or the like and try and use the upper body. maybe a horse figure could be used and spliced together. Ideas, ideas....
