PM Supermarine Spitfire Vb floatplane ***FINISHED!***

Select the most rubbish kit in your stash, one that probably has no other chance of seeing a workbench, and build it however you wish - and have fun doing it along with others likewise occupied.

Looks great! Even more so for the raw material you had to work with!
Best wishes

Cheers, Iggie and Daren. Really, once you start manhandling it, it does turn out a more or less serviceable approximation. I don't know enough about Spitfire models for accuracy and I prefer to wallow in ignorance because that doesn't help the mojo. It looks enough like one to me; if that isn't good enough for anyone else they are free not to look at it. At least it isn't a Starfix or Grafix kit is all I'm saying. One thing I would like to do is cobble together a beaching dolly for it.

I think that´s the best PM Spitfire I´ve seen so far :)

Wonderful workmanship. I like it! It's hardly your fault the shape looks like a just-about spitfire. The fine modelling is what saved the day.
