Cheers, Iggie and Daren. Really, once you start manhandling it, it does turn out a more or less serviceable approximation. I don't know enough about Spitfire models for accuracy and I prefer to wallow in ignorance because that doesn't help the mojo. It looks enough like one to me; if that isn't good enough for anyone else they are free not to look at it. At least it isn't a Starfix or Grafix kit is all I'm saying. One thing I would like to do is cobble together a beaching dolly for it.

I think that´s the best PM Spitfire I´ve seen so far

Wonderful workmanship. I like it! It's hardly your fault the shape looks like a just-about spitfire. The fine modelling is what saved the day.
