Nice work. Got a resin conversion for this and you've done it quicker from scratch

This would be an ideal first scratch build project as it’s only made up of flat sides.Kitaholic wrote:Nice work. Got a resin conversion for this and you've done it quicker from scratch
I don’t normally build AFV’s but I’m slowly going over to the dark side as they are quick to build and you get lots of options.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Great job! I really liked that tapered barrel work, and the boxes you added to it.
I'm starting to prefer AFVs too, mainly so I don't have to deal with canopies.

Great build; blitz and scratch-build together; fantastic!
Best wishes

Great finish, Alan. It's good to see not only an AFV but also a scratch built conversion in a blitz. Top work!

Cheers guys this has been on of the most enjoyable builds I have done in a long time.
Blitz are excellent ways to get back in the swing if you mojo is lacking.
Anyone looking for a very Blitzable subject, any of the Plastic Soldier tanks will fit the bill, they have low parts count, good detail & excellent part fit.
If I get a chance before the GB ends I might have another go

I used the excellent World War II AFV Plans, British Armored Fighting Vehicles, by George Bradford ISBN 978-0-8117-3453-0 it contains 90 pages of scale drawings covering an excellent selection of AFV.chrism wrote:Very nice job indeed.
