Nope! - the tanker version (1983) of the original kit issued around 1964, backdated to the airline version!
Roden has finally issued a new tool kit in the same scale, but I have not seen it in the flesh.

Thanks, all, your kind comments are much appreciated!

Absolutely beautiful rendition of this aircraft. The side by side with the Comet is fantastic.
I wish I could achieve a finish like that.

Fantastic work I had the pleasure of flying in an RAF VC10 on several occasions, did you know they turned all the passenger seats to face aft to improve safety in the RAF a/c it felt strange on takeoff and landing with the high angle of attack.

On one flight crossing the Atlantic from the USA to England, I got stuck in the toilet because of a dodgy door lock and they had to remove the door to let me out.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Great story! Thanks!
Did you keep a record of which aircraft, and is it in a museum somewhere?

(Again) Great looking model, and very good pics. Some photoshoppery would have you believe this is the real thing.
