Re: Kit's Revell Hunter F.6 1/72
Cheers guys.
Finished my sanding session. Not perfect but close enough for local government work.
Bit of black (looks grey on the pic) behind the splitter plate to give an illusion of depth.
Wings on now, starting to look like a Hunter.

Nifty work on the intakes, I didn't realise there was an issue with the wing tips, thanks for pointing it out.

Brilliant stuff. I love what you've done with the trunking.

Re: Kit's Revell Hunter F.6 1/72
Sorry for the lack of updates but real life decided to throw me a curve ball that caught me right between the eyes. Just after my last update my Mother was diagnosed with cancer so had to rush up North. Two days ago she had a double mastectomy. Good news is she's doing fine now.
Anyway finally got some bench time in but being this late in the day I haven't done what I wanted to do. Was going to use a resin seat and add the distinctive seal that runs around the inside of the cockpit and canopy and add the mirror at the top of the windshield. Best laid plans and all that. So instead I used the kit seat (which is very nice anyway) added a few more belts and closed the canopy up. Masked up then whacked some paint on. Artificial light has given the grey a bluish tinge and lightened the green.
While I had the paint out I thought I might as well get some on the Phantom

Re: Kit's Revell Hunter F.6 1/72
Some progress on this now. The Modeldecal sheet doesn't give you roundels or codes only aircraft specific markings. Roundels are not a problem but with time running out I didn't fancy cutting up individual letters and numbers so they would fit on the wing and the undercarriage doors. So I decided to take the easy option and go for a RNAF aircraft.
Currently adding the dangly bits now.
