AVRO Shackleton Mk 2; Airfix 1/72
Re: AVRO Shackleton Mk 2; Airfix 1/72
It's hard to answer the 'how long did it take' question. I'm retired and I don't get out much. From start to finish, I was 'working' on it over just over two weeks, but that does not really answer your question. I estimate about 70 hours, plus or minus. It cud have been a lot less if I did not bother with the interior detail, none of which can be seen. It was certainly reaching a point where my attention span was weakening.

Agree with the others.... I had to be lifted off the carpet after reading that you had built a kit post 1985, but then you have demonstrated that you can build new ones every bit as well as the old ones.

Great looking model of a great looking aircraft! I think the grey and white paint scheme is so sharp!
