Re: VW GOLF
Looking good.
I have been looking at this model in the LHS.
Are all the parts in the engine bay separate or is the battery and water bottle moulded in.

Re: VW GOLF
i have built the chassis and put the wheels on, the VW logo and the wheel nuts was done with a black sharpie pen, i have put red flocking on the floor to represent carpet i am in the process making some templates for the seats as i am hopping to put some leather look clothe on them, i am also toying with the idea of putting some brake lines and handbrake cable on the underside of the chassis, i don`t know yet if that will happen just a thought at moment

Re: VW GOLF
This seems to have slipped in under my radar, Syd. Looking good so far. The Mk I Golf was a good looking hatchback IMHO before the car put on width and weight!

Re: VW GOLF
finished the vw i did not put the brake lines or the hand brake cable on the extra`s i did was to put some red flocking on the floor and some black flocking on the rear parcel shelve covered the seats in leather look clothe and also the folded down soft top and put piping on, the seats is not the original colour but as the cars still on the road will have been restored some restore them to their own colour sceme which is what i have depicted here

Re: VW GOLF
Great work, Syd, that turned out very nicely. I see an example of one of these cars quite often locally and it's in decent nick as well.
