Help required regarding CBK rules.

Hey folks I need a little help on facts and rules.
I've read through all the rules and guidelines of the SIG and can't find a firm date of when a kit is no longer considered a Classic.
As you've probably seen I've been doing a lot of work lately on Harriers and most recently the Airfix GR5/7/T.10 which were first released in 1991.
Does this count as a classic to fit the SMW18 display?
In the guide it says before the 1980's but the TSR.2(produced in 2006) and others can be considered due to their heritage and stuff, would that mean the 1991 Airfix Harrier II's wold count as a CBK due to the Link with the Legacy Harrier?
I'm so confused.

It is deliberately vague but the SIG focus s on the golden years before videos games distracted from the hobby. So mid 80s is considered the cut off point.

Right ok so although the 2006 TSR.2 is a CBK the 1991 Harrier II isn't?

It says the likes of the TSR2 could be up for consideration, but we've never put that into effect. I've don't agree that the TSR2 is a CBK as the intent defines and similarly neither are the fantastic 1/48 Lightnings and late mark Spit/Seafires. We've never displayed them any of them. We define CBKs by date, not how good they are because is subject to opinion and becomes contentious. We could have a rolling limit but again it's never been really considered - the 90's weren't a great period for new Airfix kits.

But could we consider a 27 year old kit classic?
