Goldings in Bedford Closing Down

Recommendations of all those increasingly rare LMS's in a town near you, so the rest of us can find them and marvel! Also, the places near you where blokes approach you, furtively clutching the latest SAMI and smelling of resin.

Goldings in Bedford Closing Down

Goldings in Bedford High Street is closing after 150 years of trading. Last shop in Bedford apart from Hobbycraft that stocked kits (mostly Airfix) and lots of modelling tools and accessories. Sad to see them go. Closure due to lack of footfall, out of town malls and internet trading is the cause. They were Bedford's best stocked hardware shop. Not sure if closure is end July 2019 or end August.
