A cloudy day at loughborough (GCR)

Post by RCD »

Went over to Loughborough friday morning to see a couple of Halls double headed (Pitchford and Witherslack Halls) - was not a day to get good photographs as the weather was poor..

Used to enjoy going to GCR at Loughborough. Even better now that you can travel to the outskirts of Leicester - Birstall I think. Just a shame they ripped up the tracks and built along the old line as the old Leicester station is still there, just past Woodgate.
It's only pain, work through it.

Nice shots, despite the less than ideal weather conditions 8-)
We went to one of their 40's weekends a few years back, very enjoyable and even more so by wearing appropriate outfits.
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
