welcome aboard Duncan I'm also new to airbrushing after spending my entire modelling life hand brushing and despite the usual family building break that's been more years than I care to remember...I think I dithered far too long about breaking my airbrushing cherry so to speak, my advice bite the bullet and after a few goes it will all just fall into place

just read my post - eeeek! Blame it on ‘lock down’ and the excessive consumption of gin! This was a difficult post to write - I blame it on ‘lock down’ and the excessive consumption of gin. However, perhaps you can let us know what airbrush you have and your preferred paints - gives us ‘experts’ Lol :-) a feel for the advice you might need.
