Model Company Histories on YouTube

Post by JamesPerrin »

I think someone else posted a link to one of Maxmodels kit maker bios, but I thought I'd post a reference to them all as he has now done quite a few; recently Airfix. If like me you find the history of the hobby fascinating this is any excellent dive into popular and many forgotten brands from all over the world.

Interesting - I'll have to dive into these when I have a chance.

There are some obvious to us errors, but the guy reads the comments and often posts follow up vids with corrections.

I like them, lots to go through.

The FROG video reminded me that I have:
-- 2 of the interceptors, damaged, to try and put into one flyable,
-- the Ventura test shot kit to finish,
-- the Shell tanker to finish.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

I follow his series too, it may have been me who put the link up before. This is well worth watching. I have put a few comments on his channel and mentioned the forum a few times. Max has looked in on the forum too.

All the best
