I got this info from CNET today - those of you on Flickr may know it already.

"Photo-sharing site Flickr is undertaking a big shift following its 2018 purchase by SmugMug, and this week the transition begins in earnest. Starting January 8, Flickr is limiting free accounts to 1,000 photos and videos, way down from the 1 TB of storage that the company offered for free when the service was owned (and neglected) by Yahoo."

There are actions you can take - here is a link to the CNET article:

I know one of our members converted to SmugMug after the PB fiasco.

I stopped using Flickr this year because they lost a great load of my build pictures for several models, the forum suddenly stopped showing the pictures and i wondered what was going on. I now use PostImages. Far easier to use imo.

I had to start paying for my Flickr account when I hit 1000 images. Still, it's only about as much as buying a fancy coffee drink once a week. Well worth it in my view. I now have over 2000 images.
