Me, too - but I simply couldn't afford to take more back then. Film, especially slide film, was expensive and developing costs needed to be factored in, too. Rare was the show where I could take more than a handful of rolls, and I might get a handful of keepers out of those 2-300 shots. It's why I only infrequently took flying shots. Now, with digital, I can take thousands over a weekend...
Excellent photographs

Coming from Boston (the proper one!) we had daily runs of Vulcans, Super sabres and
assorted training aircraft including the odd Anson. No one would 'waste' expensive film on the Vulcans which were two a penny. How things have changed!
My biggest regret was that , I had no film in my camera when the 'German airforce' flew up the Witham when during the filming 'The Battle of Britain'.
