Thanks Impisi.

I painted the seat, propeller and engine on the Revell 48th Roland.

Whilst working on the Top Gun GB Skyhawk I noticed I didn't need to use the bulge on the spine of the fuselage.
So that got me thinking.
Could I add it to the Raspberry Ripple Spitfire to compliment the F-35A antenna behind the cockpit?

It fits perfectly with the curves of the Spitfire so I've committed and glued it in place.

On the 48th Roland I've finished the interior, glued the cabin windows in, started and finished the Engine and glued the 2 fuselage halves together.

The Roland is looking very good, Adam and I also like the look of your antenna festooned whiffer Spit!

Just caught up with your thread Adam (and Sal), what a variety! I must say that the raspberry ripple Jaguar is the star of the show for me 8-)
Best wishes

Thanks everyone for your kind comments!

So the Rolland now looks like this.
Image
And as a mojo booster I decided to paint the white inner surfaces of the Italeri F-35A that I completed a while ago.
Image
I've also seen recently that the F-35A has been carrying out tests with the B61-12 Nuclear Bomb and I have decided to replicate this in 72nd scale.
I never thought these 2 would have anything in common until today.

You and Sal produce some very good aircraft.
It's only pain, work through it.

Thank you Wokka!

I found a B61 in an old Italeri Weapons set I bought from the Bruntingthorpe Cold War Jets Fast Taxi Day way back in 2009, I remember this like it was yesterday as Victor Teasing Tina accidentally took off for a brief period.
There are 2 in the set, the other has been bagged up and put into the Italeri F-15E Strike Eagle kit that I plan to build as the Boeing test aircraft.
Don't worry Marky, the 3 your sending me are very much appreciated and I have plans for them already!
Please excuse the brush marks as I'm not very good at hand painting.
Also I know this is a B61 not a B61-12 but it's perfect as a representation in my eyes.
Image
This is the bomb bay it will be mounted in, one of the door supports needed trimming back in order to have a clear opening.
Image
And my OT Nellis AFB F-35A Lightning II has now officially become the 2nd model in my collection to carry a nuclear payload.
Image
Tonight I also threw on some much needed weapons onto our SU-25 Frogfoot in a whiff Finnish Air Force scheme, the weapons were unused from a diecast SU-34 Fullback which was stripped back ready to be painted into primer like the one Falcon did a while back.
Image
I felt the need to put some GSE around her.
Thanks for reading.

That would make a good Cold War SIG theme: vehicles capable of delivering nuclear weapons

The F-35 looks good with the nuke on board, Adam and that Frogfoot is excellent.

Thanks for the comments lads!

As I started this beast in the Prototype GB I thought I had to resurrect the SalAd Bar Workbench to get her finished.

So the Revell Space Shuttle has been very slowly sanded and filled, now that's all done I felt I can post a short photo update.

Now this is part of an idea I come up with.
The Mknicraft Shuttle has a set of mounting supports.
The plan is to have 1 set on the green plastic base and 1 on the Airfix Booster and magnetized.
