Temora Aviation Museum Aircraft Showcase - RAAF Centennary

Post by RayS »

With the 100th Anniversary of the RAAF fast approaching (31 March 2021) the Temora Aviation Museum is holding the flying weekend this weekend. Temora is 2 1/2 hours drive northwest of Canberra in central NSW.

Aircraft on display ranged from the Tigermoth to the F-35 Lightning II, all the museum's aircraft have some sort of link to Australasian military aviation, HARS supplied a Caribou, UH-1B and Catalina, some privately own singles showed up as well and the RAAF showed up with some aircraft for static display with the F-35 performing a few passes for the finale. Sorry about the quality of some shots, the phone zoom could not focus too well.

Thanks, Ray.

Amazingly, I have actually been there! Not a flying day unfortunately but even so, the Hudson was doing circuits.
