Opening Day

Post by JohnRatzenberger »

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks
I don't care if I never get back
Let me root, root, root
For the home team
If they don't win it's a shame
Aahh.
For it's one,
Two,
Three strikes you're out
At the old ball game.

Go Kansas City Royals !

We had a big cold snap last night, I’m wrapped in a blanket in my living room chair. Age, distance, health, and all that are again keeping me from the “K”, but if our ISP hangs tough, I’ll have the TV on and life will be good again.

We won 14-10; it was ugly, could be a long season.

My Tigers squeaked by Cleveland 3-2. Even in the snow.

Ah, Dodgers lost. Offence was good - plenty of hits - but Kershaw pitched a stinker.

The images of Miggie blasting one in a snowstorm are great.

Our starter was gone after 1st inning, then we just worked our way through everyone left, hoping the game ended before our two closers let any more in.
