Read Before Posting that "Add image"/PostImage is broken

Postimage is free and provides the image hosting when you use the "P Add image to post" feature. These images are not stored on the UAMF website and the UAMF Admin do not have any control over them. It is provided as convenient and free method of posting images without the hassle of subscribing to a paid service, with the following caveats.

1 Postimage does not have the super reliability; it's free! If you want a more stable service then you need to use a paid for image hosting service or other alternative (see below).

2 Postimage servers often appear to be not working for small number of users only to start working again after a few hours or days.

Alternatives to Postimage fall into three broad categories.

Image hosting is a internet service that stores your images on line for you and lets you link to them in forums and websites. These services are setup to be allow your images to be viewed by thousands of other users.

Cloud storage is is primary a backup and/or storage service that lets you synchronise all kinds of data from your computer or mobile devices. Typically they do not provide access to your files as they are needed to be secure, but some may provide public links, bit these cloud storage services are not set up to viewed by large numbers of users.

Website hosting this a internet service that gives you some space on a server to do what you want with, this could be for a website (eg umaf.org ) or to store backups of data. They can be used to as image hosting service that you maintain yourself. Self hosting requires some basic technical understanding, almost all of operations however can be done using web based tools provided by the hosting service.

I'm not recommending any specific services, as I have not tried them all.
