I just had a rather pleasant visit to the DeHavilland museum Nr London Colney which has 3 Mosquitos including the original prototype.
A quick history lesson to start with
Just in case anyone was curious to know...
And the original prototype in as near as they can find out to the original colours although in it's first couple of flights it was all yellow. It gained the topside camo when test pilots started taking it out.
Bomb bay details
The black cylinder is the largest bomb it could carry
Elevator controls should anyone wish to model it
remember the anti shipping version with a 57mm cannon, this is said cannon and it's an absolute beast
Sea Vixen
Anyone fancy modelling the radar...
And for all you weathering nuts out there

Re: DeHavilland Mosquito museum
Excellent photos EBF, and very useful for the upcoming Mosquito GB later in the year
Interesting to see the prototype with leading edge slats; were these fitted to all Mossies or left off production aircraft does anyone know?
