Greetings from Tasmania

Post by Jackluchan »

Hi everyone, this is Jack from Hobart Tasmania. Modeling since I was a kid 25 years old. Back in China at that time matchbox and Bandai were the two brands known to every kid. Those 1/76 tanks and 1/72 planes from matchbox and 1/48 tanks from Bandai were really wonderful memories.I came to Australia in 2006 and found Airfix models in local shops, those small scales are simple and may not be accurate but considering its age there is lots of space for modifications which I really enjoy. I am happy to share my works with you guys and i will continue posting. Best wishes

Hi Jack, welcome to the forum mate. Look forward to seeing some of your models. Feel free to jump in on any of the discussion threads. There is even a Spitfire Group Build going on if that tickles your fancy.
Cheers

Hi Martin, yes Hobart is a beautiful and comfortable pace to live in. The weather the people and the city itself are so attractive. I won’t live anywhere else in Australia rather than here in future I think. A photo of Hobart city from my balcony will bring you some memories

Nice pic Jack. Not been to Tasmania, but it's a place I'd like to visit one day.
