DnD proxy character

Post by A Girl Is No One »

For my up coming introduction to the world of Dungeons and Dragons. I painted the Games Workshop Eowyn figure to represent my character in the adventures.

Two are the more recent plastic versions. They are both helmeted with one on horseback and one as the warrior Shield Maiden she is. The un helmeted one is the original metal miniature from when the range was fairly new. Around the mid 2000’s.
There are some details that I like on all the miniatures. And some I don’t. For example. Eowyn’s hair on the metal version is much better that on the two plastic ones. But the creases and details in her boots are much better than on the metal.

Anyhoo. I hope you like the pics.

Very nicely painted figures. I’m looking to get back into a bit of miniature painting at the moment and have been genning up on current techniques and updating supplies. Want to try using a wet palette for instance. What are you using?

At the moment I’m just using a plastic tile and a standard plastic pallet. I do want to get a wet pallet and try that out.
Paint wise. I almost exclusively use Citadel paints from games workshop.
