International Air Show, Middle Wallop 1984

Some helos from the 1984 International Air Show at Middle Wallop. These shows were held in alternate years with the International Air Tatoo (and organized by the same people), and in conjunction with the International HeliMeet competition, which were held in the week prior at Broadlands, the estate of Lord Romsey. Must dig out some of those photos, too....

As you can see, the weather was ideal - bright and hazy. Unfortunately, my budget didn't run to slide film back then, nor were my skills up to capturing much of the flying action. But I hope these static shots are pleasing.
