I really do like you weathered and battered aircraft. They look worn but not so much that they look as though they are headed for the scrapyard!

I've seen a few pictures of aircraft where they are awfully filthy, and evidently still in service (though I wonder how common that was/is). Like you though, I prefer the used but not battered aesthetic on airplanes. I think even my tanks are modestly weathered, in comparison to what many modelers are doing.

Like with all things in this hobby, it should all come down to personal choice.

I agree with LM, nicely weathered but not overly so - it looks great Ralph. Personally I'd leave the bomb on too.

Is it the Eduard kit?

Very nice Ralph. IMHO the weathering is just right. Reflects operational use without distracting the lines of the aircraft.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
