Wherever there's danger, wherever there's trouble, wherever there's important work to be done....I'll be somewhere else building a model!

My wife (who is totally blind) found it amusing, I found that concerning.

Good one
In Cowboy terms there is a famous pistol made by and called 'LeMat' [the surname of its inventor/maker]
Whenever one comes up on ebay they translate it to 'The Rug' !
Honestly

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I'm glad she did, I didn't want it to be taken in the wrong way by anyone. It is more a translation thing than anything nasty. When I first saw the description what came to mind was a Tu22 drone, for some reason "Blind man" to me came across as no pilot lol. I was being far too metaphorical perhaps!general rocket wrote: ↑May 11th, 2022, 10:07 pm My wife (who is totally blind) found it amusing, I found that concerning.
I like it! I'm Aussie so our slang and pronunciations lead to lots of misunderstandings and confusion.
A 1/72 pilot dog. That would be a cool additon!

Don't worry about it, I have just painted her a T shirt to commemorate one of my heart attacks last year.
Work out the joke for yourself.
A pilot dog? Muttley maybe?
