This was taken opposite Toton Centre which was once one of the largest yards in the UK. Weather was not good and the fireman clearly knows his stuff hence no smoke!

The priniciple problem looking at the picture is that it looks like a model train rather than a real one! Its runing again next Saturday so hopefully there will be a bit more smoke.

Great photo. My in-laws house used to back on to Toton Yard - always a mecca when I was a young train spotter living down south then ironic that in my dotage I end up living a few miles away!
