Want to see my etchings?

Post by Blue Elephant »

Hi guys, I've battled, successfully I think, aftermarket brass for aircraft etc over the years................but ONE aspect, I dread approaching..................canopy framing on clear parts!!!! I know CA glue has/can have a rotten effect on Canopies, so how do we get around it please?

Try Roket card glue. It's basically PVA but it dries really clear and of course does not give off fumes.
I've also used 'foam-safe' CA adhesive without any apparent fuming issues but I wouldn't want to use it on canopies...
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Dip your canopies in Future/Pledge/Klear/how ever it is named - let it dry for at least 3-5 days - I never had any issues with CA on such treated canopies
