Nearly there. Modelling shall re-commence quite soon. I hope.
Work in progress and my new storage boxes. These will be stacked into a trolley later, so that I can get to the door behind.
Half of the new rack. Work in progress, models, books and magazines.
Book case and loo / paint store. All tiled out and painted. Nice and cosy. Doubles as a small art gallery.
Tool Cupboards with storage boxes on top. Beer in the lower cabinet. I got 4 nice wall cupboards in a sale for £10 each. They are built double depth. The garage is just through the door in the porch, which is very handy.
The other side of the new rack. Later, this will be tidied up and have a small extractor fan and spray box. The plan is to move the shelves around to form a small model railway layout to display my old railway models, buildings and some vehicles. This will happen after the garage is cleared of junk and becomes my completed model store, with boxes easily lifted into the car to take to shows. If I get this done, I will start taking gallery photos of all the models and have a Virtual Model Display.

You are indeed fortunate to have a hobby space like that. Some of us could become quite envious....!

As the outdoor projects have slowed down for a while, I have been adding a few kits to the stash and the workbench.
Still collecting Early Jets. The silver finish is Humbrol Rattle can, polished Aluminium Metal Cote. The rest is hand painted.
The rest of the horde is here. I started a Workbench 2022 Album. As you can see, there are a lot of models in process. I'm not a good finisher, but they are getting there. I'm hoping to keep modelling in the unheated shed over the winter, and I have a little heater to take the edge off. The porch gets a lot of sunlight during the day, and acts like a greenhouse. Doors are sealed now, so that should keep the cold out.

Ready for the next session.

Nice mix of subjects. What scheme is planned for the third T-33?

There will be a Luftwaffe version from the Italeri / Platz kit. This is because the decals match the kit and it's a tricky scheme.DavidWomby wrote: ↑September 25th, 2022, 3:45 pm Nice mix of subjects. What scheme is planned for the third T-33?

The other one will be Italian. I have two more. One is going to be Spanish, and the last will be a What If RAF machine with Yellow Training bands.

Currently working through the silver jets, but have had to stop, so that I could get going on the new Anson. Photos to follow.

Here's one of the re-releases.
Nice decal sheet with options, plus an extra Dragon, in case you want to paint the nose. A nice old kit.
Then a Blitz.
2 hours in . . . . Some polishing to do now. This kit gives you alternate parts for a PR Version.

Niceeee - I do like the F-80 and the T-33, what I great looking aircraft. I'd like to do a collection of all the early US jets prior to the Century Series.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

For a second there, i thought maybe you model from the commode. How brilliant would that be?
But jokes aside, that's a fantastic studio you have setup

Two big Ansons! I couldn't face it! (I bashed the little brother into shape years ago, and that was enough for me )
I could be tempted by a Starfire. One day. Maybe.
Keep it up!
