1/1200 Jeanne Darc

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

1/1200 Jeanne Darc

Post by Bissyboat »

Nothing like starting the weekend and smell the sea air -12 below zero. So refreshing. This helicopter carrier was a fun little build but keeping the helicopters stuck on the flightdeck was easier said than done. Model was brush painted and weathered with oils and salt streaks made with white acrylics. Aerials and rigging made using stretched sprue. Life pods made from stretched sprue.

Well that answers the age old question of what does a Super Frelon look like on 1/1200 scale

Too small for me! Nicely done though 👍
Best wishes

Thank you James. I know the answer. The miniature Frelons look nothing like it.

Something more from the "Sink the Bismarck" set, perhaps? Maybe Hood... a Tribal... Prinz Eugen...?
