New to forum and greetings from Florida

Post by Flipper23 »

Hello, I just joined this awesome forum and I’m happy to share my models with you, I already posted some in Aviation and I will soon post some of my current WIP.

All advices tips and technics as well as questions are welcome!

Im P and I’ve been in this hobby and art since I was 12, many models after I still haven’t got it right lol, I collected over 3000 kits, mostly Cold War jets, mostly in 1/72.

I focus in particular on migs sukhoi and Soviet made jets but I also have a vaste collection of American and NATO jets.

Thank you for having me aboard!

Welcome, Paolo! (And pussycat!)
Your handle rang a loud bell.
I remember this from the 1970s:

Image

I am sure I built it at the time, and I think I kept the missiles and pylons for many years after I scrapped it.
When the USSR opened up in the mid-80s so much of this guesswork was rendered defunct or corrected. Would this 'MiG-23 Flipper' pass as a SU-9 Fishpot, do you reckon?
Later, Hasegawa raced out their MiG-25 and MiG-29 to be first to market, regardless of accuracy. (I was bitterly disappointed with the MiG-29 and lack of weapons, and wrote to Hasegawa. Hasegawa replied! They explained that they simply had to be first to market).

Great to have you join us!
Now, what's your cat's name?
