Found these two places while having a couple of nights away in Shrewsbury:

Think Tank Military Model Kits
14 Parade Shopping Centre, St Mary's Pl, Shrewsbury SY1 1DL
As the name suggests, mainly AFVs but they do have some aircraft too, with a good range of manufacturers offered. In addition, they have a good stock of scenic materials, glues, brushes and paints.


Salopian Models
Unit 1, Thornes Hall, 28 Castle St, Shrewsbury SY1 2BQ

A good range of kits of all genres, plus model railway and Scalextric as well. Humbrol enamel paints, plus acrylic paint sets,Tamiya paints plus glues and brushes...
