RAF Hercules set to retire.

I started life as a rigger on these and they are fantastic for what they can do, victims of a previous defence review and I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us like other decisions.

Saw the fly past today Pics not great as only had phone to hand They came in over the length of runway at Boscombe Down and did a turn and went off to next RV

My next door neighbour has been flying the Herc for 15 years, it was a very sad day for him. Don’t know which of the 3 aircraft he was flying though.
