Singapore Air Force Museum 17 May 2023

Post by skypirate »

Small, tidy museum showing off some subjects under cover, and some outside. The museum is on the the site of Paya Lebar air base, and photos of anything in the circuit are not allowed. I barely witnessed a couple of F-16s landing (viewing was not good, between buildings).

Nice! They look very well cared for 👍
I got 'told off' at Santorini Airport for photographing an HAF Hercules which landed while I was up on the viewing gallery having a smoke; the irony was that I photographed the exact same aircraft two weeks later at RIAT Fairford as it was sent for display on the static line... it was the one with a painting of Hercules(?) on the tail 😁
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
