Too many paints?

Got something to say about the hobby of model making?

I have switched to Vallejo Model Air and Model Colour and am trying, but haven't been impressed by, by their Metal Colour.
Same here. Vallejo for everything but Model Master for metallics. Humbrol metalcote for gunmetal.

The Vallejo liguid silver/gold/copper series really is The Business though.

A few small exceptions here and there for specific colours of course but it's my Vallejo drawer that's always open during a build. No need for toxic solvents and no need to worry that any residue from one brand will clag up with another brand in the airbrush.
Must.....build....ALL the Sopwith Camels!...

My first love is 25 - 28mm Napoleonic wargame figures with English Civil War as a sideline I've done them on and off since I was 12 for these i use Humbrol enamel i just can't get on with Acrylics at all. I use Vallejo Model Air for Aircraft and AFV's but also have Tamiya Acrylics as a second go to for these. I'm going to miss Humbrol enamels if they do go the last time I've bought are not worth the money at the spent but I'll qualify that as I've heard quality has improved I've not bought any of these as yet.
Personally I make use of what I find works for me which leads to a lot of used storage space you can't have too much paint if it works use it!

I feel paint envy!
Until recently I was almost exclusively Humbrol, except one single Revell tiny tin 9, best paint colour for tyres!
However, I've had a renaissance this year and now have a collection of Japanese acrylics from Tamiya and Mr Color

That's it

My paint hoard. There are some Humbrol in there that are about 50 years old and have never been opened. When shaken, they still sound fluid.
