I am happy to be able to provide the information BB. When I was issued with my initial allocation of flying kit in 1971 it was a mix of older and newer equipment from the relatively new Mk2A helmet to the older service blue ‘aircrew shirt’. I then experienced changes in kit to such things as NOMEX fire resistant flying suits and the Mk10 flying helmet.
