I am Bluegrass, Annette is Buffett ...
May seem a strange combo but in 1970 when Jimmy was a reporter in Nashville, he broke the story of Flatt & Scruggs breakup (not breakdown).
First two buttons on our vehicle radios are BlueGrass & Margaritaville, same with our house stereo - driver controls, else first to it.
Today, maybe all week, the house stereo is doing Margaritaville, who has thankfully gone pure ...

But it's sad to see him go. I'm not a huge fan of his music, but he was a great entertainer, and seemed like a pretty decent dude.

Another fact of life, John. So many of our music heroes have gone to the Big Gig in the Sky. Most of the musicians that provided the soundtrack to my life have gone, now. They left some wonderful music, so they are as alive to me as they have always been. They will truly live for as long as their music is played. As long as their songs bring a smile, or a tear.
So many models, so little time.
