This is the old school Monogram Shelby kit. Painting it Wimbledon White

Here we go with a classic bit of American muscle! Top choice of subject, Dirk and you're off to a great start.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!

Applied the first coat of primer to the chassis

Removed the license print from the chassis

Added some dark charcoal because black looks to stark and doesn't look right in this scale

Started painting the interior using some flat black

Image

Since the GT-350 cars didn't have any back seats we installed the fiberglass tray which replaces the rear seat assembly of the Mustang 2 + 2 and the spare tire was removed from the trunk supposedly for better over all balance

Progressing very nicely, Dirk. I'm with you on the use of the charcoal shade as on models straight black can just be too black!

That has turned out great, Dirk.
I agree, the personalized license plate is a nice touch.
