Luftwaffe, Hawker Typhoon 1b.
This is based on an FW 190A-4/Trop that was found on Benghazi Airfield in November 1942. The aircraft had previously belonged to Erprobungskommando 19, a unit formed in July 1942 to evaluate the suitability of Bf 109’s and FW 190’s as fighter-bombers in tropical conditions, the unit disbanded a couple of months later.

As I’ve ended up with 4 of these Heller Mk XVIe's, I thought I’d see what one looked like in a SEAC scheme.
So here it is dressed as a 607 Sqn aircraft in India during 1944. In keeping with tradition, the camera has highlighted some bits not seen by my failing eyesight that I need to go back and address!
