Battle of Britain Air Show 2023

Post by Sunray »

I haven't been on the forum for a few years as I have been busy doing other things, but as you can see I am back. I went to last years Battle of Britain Air Show at Duxford and I though I would share a few photos. I was there for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday taking photos and I am still in the process of sorting them but here are a few from the Friday and Saturday. So far there are about 800 plus photos but I will only posting a few here so if you want to she the rest just click on the link at the very bottom of the post and it will take you to my Flickr page. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

What a superb set of photos Ian, thanks very much for sharing. Many of those will be useful for modelling reference details I'm sure.

That's why I don't really take photos anymore, there are so many of excellent quality like yours on the 'net already.
It's only pain, work through it.

Thanks chaps for all the kind comments.

If you haven't had the chance to go to an air show at Duxford I can tell you they are all like this, except the weather that is. As Beany mentioned they are good to use for reference especially the biplanes for rigging, etc.

This is just a very small select and if I have time later I will post a few more showing a few more of the aircraft such as the BBMF, P-51's, Swordfish, etc. That's if you want me to?
Cheers
Ian
